We were delighted to host the Zeta Tau Alpha Delta Mu chapter from the University of Tennessee at Martin last week. Our friends assisted them in assembling care and comfort bags for numerous individuals battling breast cancer. The chapter's philanthropic focus is on breast cancer education and awareness. They engaged our friends in discussions about their academic majors. Subsequently, they explained that the bags would be donated to nearby individuals affected by breast cancer and local cancer centers. Kendall Crabtree extended an invitation for our friends to participate, and we are grateful she did. They were thrilled to contribute to bringing joy to those facing challenging times.

Who doesn’t appreciate a well-crafted sandwich? Today was a day dedicated to the sandwich. Did you know that the sandwich originated from John Montagu, the Earl of Sandwich, in 1762? The story goes that he was engaged in a game of cards and didn’t want to interrupt his play, so he requested that someone place the meat between two slices of bread, thus allowing him to continue playing. This marked the inception of the sandwich. Today, we sampled three varieties, ranging from the classic hot ham and cheese slider to the delicious chicken salad with grapes and walnuts, and finally, creamy pimento and cheese. This sandwich extravaganza was followed by an ice cream sandwich cake. This indulgent treat took the sandwich to new heights of decadence. What is your favorite sandwich?

When the air turns crisp , the leaves paint the world gold , pumpkin spice fills the breeze , and you know it’s time for autumn magic . 🍂🍁 Fall is much more than a season . It ‘s cozy feeling , a slower rhythm begins and a gentle reminder to let go of things that no longer serve us . This is like the leaves when they fall from the trees . Today our sweet friends enjoyed the smells and sights of fall and our ladies were treated to the rich nail colors that make us feel beautiful .
