🌟 Please join us in celebrating our Star of The Week, Mr. Ralph Hill! 🌟

Mr. Hill admitted to us in June 2025 in need of prolonged IV antibiotic therapy to treat a serious infection, along with Physical and Occupational Therapy to help him regain his strength and work toward his goal of returning home independently. Upon arrival, he required significant assistance with his daily care, and there were moments when we weren’t sure if returning home would be possible — but Mr. Hill was determined to prove otherwise!

With daily encouragement from his caregiver, Kylene, and her grandchildren, Mr. Hill stayed motivated and focused. Their visits lifted his spirits and strengthened his drive to succeed in therapy. Even through major health challenges, he never lost his smile. He made it his mission to brighten the day of every person he encountered and to remind others to look for the good around them.

By discharge, Mr. Hill was walking over 50 feet with his walker, had regained independence in most daily activities, and had successfully completed his infection treatment. Later this year, after another health setback, he returned to us for additional therapy — placing his trust in our team once again. He shared that he believes he would not be alive today without our care, calling The Waters “a wonderful place with the most caring staff.”

Mr. Hill told us he always feels safe, supported, listened to, and surrounded by smiling faces here — and we are honored to walk beside him on his journey.

Congratulations, Mr. Hill! We are so privileged to celebrate each milestone with you and cheer you on every step of the way. 🎉👏
