Our well-established faculty and talented dental residents collaborate to provide comprehensive dental care, from traditional to state-of-the-art dentistry, at affordable prices. Our clinical philosophy is to provide comprehensive oral health care, not simply "tooth-by-tooth" dentistry. We offer a variety of services, which include but are not limited to:
-Scientific methods to prevention and management of dental problems
-Digital X-rays, 3D X-rays and electronic records
-Dental implants
-Cosmetic dentistry including veneers, whitening and one-day all-ceramic restorations (CEREC).
-Invisalign teeth straightening

Give Veterans A Smile Day! We have gone to the dogs...therapy dogs that is. Another successful Volunteer Project for Union City Dental Care Center (University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry) and Southern Alameda County Dental Society (SACDS). Therapy dogs helped to lower anxiety for everyone and helped simulate dental hygiene and varnish to a young child.
We were able to honor our local and some not too local heroes (Veterans) with free dental services by our volunteer community dentists and their teams, AEGD residents, dental students, hygiene students, our staff and faculty, dental assistants, pre-dent students and high school volunteers.
Loved working with the Veteran Stand down folks, Blue Star Moms, Las Positas College group, Bay PLS (vaccination van) to provide vaccinations, Arklign dental lab, and many others to get this project together...
A deep realization that some of our Veterans have great challenges in getting dental care. Thank you to all our Veterans for your service to our nation and all our volunteers for giving of your time and heart today!

Union City Dental Care Center ( Dugoni School of Dentistry) and Southern Alameda County Dental Society (SACDS) hosts the Give Special Kids (of all ages) A Smile Day! Great volunteers (community dentists, assistants, hygiene students, dental students, AEGD residents, staff, faculty and others provided covid testing, cleanings, fillings, fluoride varnish, SDF, extractions, oral hygiene instruction to all who wanted and tolerated treatment! We all had a great time learning more about health disparity and access to care for the IDD community. We mentored some new dental offices and workforce as future providers with minimally invasive techniques and an emphasis on prevention. The therapy dogs were a special treat.
Special thanks to everyone who made the day possible.
