We spent Employee Appreciation Week celebrating our amazing team! 🎉 Our staff truly are the backbone of our building, and we couldn’t accomplish the important work we do each day without them.

Throughout the week we had so much fun showing our gratitude with ice cream sundaes 🍨, dirty soda bars 🥤, prize wheels 🎡, bagels and treats, and so much more! Our snack cart was also a big hit as everyone picked a coworker to “twin” with for the day 👯‍♀️.

We are so thankful for each and every staff member and the dedication, compassion, and hard work they bring every single day. You make our community a wonderful place for our residents and for each other. We appreciate you more than words can say! 💙

🎲 Game Night & Wine Down Wednesday: Laughter, Friendship & Fun

There’s nothing better than an evening filled with laughter, friendly competition, and great company — and that’s exactly what our residents have been enjoying during Game Night and Wine Down Wednesday!

Game Night has quickly become a favorite in our community. From classic card games and board games to lively group challenges, the room is always filled with smiles, cheering, and just a little playful competition. Whether someone is a strategic card shark or just there for the laughs, everyone walks away a winner when it comes to fun and connection.

And then there’s Wine Down Wednesday — the perfect midweek pause. Residents gather to relax, sip, snack, and socialize in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a wonderful time to unwind, catch up with neighbors, and enjoy meaningful conversations. The simple act of sitting together, sharing stories, and raising a glass creates memories that make our community feel even more like home.

Events like these are more than just activities — they strengthen friendships, encourage social wellness, and bring joy to everyday life. We love seeing new faces join in and watching connections grow week after week.

Today was full of fun, flour, and creativity in our community! Our amazing residents spent the day baking delicious red velvet cupcakes and homemade cookies — and let me tell you, the building smelled absolutely incredible! 🧁🍪

After whipping up some sweet treats, we got crafty making cardboard hearts. There’s something so special about seeing everyone’s unique designs and the joy that comes from creating together. ❤️

Days like today remind us that it’s not just about the baking or the crafting — it’s about the laughter, conversations, and memories we make along the way.

Our residents had a sweet time at our weekly science experiment! 🎭🧪

This week we made ice cream in a bag while learning all about how salt and ice work together to create a freezing reaction. Watching the science happen right in their hands made it even more exciting!

Of course… the best part of any experiment is taste testing the results 🍨😋

Our Legacy Residents enjoyed their annual Montessori Dinner — and what a night it was! 💛

So much love went into every detail… from the delicious meal and beautiful centerpieces to the thoughtful gifts prepared with care. The sweetest part? Our desserts were made from our residents’ very own treasured recipes! 🍰📖 What a beautiful way to celebrate their stories and traditions.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do — honoring dignity, purpose, and legacy in every season of life.

Suzanne and her husband Jim, affectionately known as “Captain,” are celebrating an incredible 59 years of marriage! Suzanne resides in our Independent Living community, while Captain resides in our Legacy neighborhood. Together, they have raised two beautiful children and lived life to the fullest—traveling the world and creating countless cherished memories along the way. To honor this remarkable milestone and the love they have built over nearly six decades, we hosted a special lunch so they could enjoy a meaningful celebration together. , , ,

🎄✨ The Glen Holly Jolly Bash was truly HOLLY, JOLLY, and EVERYTHING FESTIVE! ✨🎄
From holiday shopping and sweet treats 🍪 to warm hot cocoa ☕, live music 🎶, and special visits from Santa 🎅, Mrs. Claus 🤶, and the reindeer tundra 🦌—the night was packed with cheer!
The smiles, laughter, and magical memories made it all so worth it ❤️✨ Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the season with us and spread the holiday spirit. And a huge THANK YOU to our amazing vendors for setting up shop and making the event extra special!

The Grinch snuck his way around the Glen spreading mischief, laughter, and plenty of smiles! Our residents and staff had an absolute blast visiting with our special green friend. From giggles to grins, it was a joy-filled day that definitely grew our hearts three sizes!
