If you have a new tattoo or piercing please wait until it is fully healed before coming in for a float. Even if it’s an area you think will not get wet you would be surprise where the epsom salt can travel too and the last thing we want is for you to be uncomfortable or your tattoo or piercing to not heal properly.

We recommend floating in the n**e but know that not everyone wants to do that. If you are going to float in a bathing suit please wear it during your pre float shower and make sure to rinse extra good to ensure any soap or laundry detergent residue is out of the suit. We suggest bringing a bag to bring your wet suit home in.

When coming to your float we suggest wearing loose, non restrictive clothing. Besides that the room is nice and warm so it can be hard to put tighter clothing on it feels nice to not be restricted by your clothing after relaxing your entire body during your float.

After your pre float shower dry your face off before getting in the float tank. You will be less tempted to touch your dry face once you are floating thus lessening the chances of salt getting in your eyes.

After your float you are going to take another shower to remove the Epsom salt from your hair and skin (pro tip make sure to scrub behind the ears.) After that give yourself time to decompress and come back to the “real” world after being in a sensory free environment. Lastly make sure to stay hydrated to keep flushing the toxins out and keeping those float benefits going.
