February was filled with powerful moments of transformation at Penfield.

We celebrated 6 baptisms, 3 rededications, and 3 professions of faith, and 16 new clients - reminders that God is actively at work in the lives of the men and women we serve.

Each of these moments represents a story of hope, healing, and a life moving toward restoration.
Behind every number is a person choosing a new path, a family finding renewed hope, and a future being rewritten.

We are grateful to witness these moments and thankful for everyone who supports the mission of Penfield Addiction Ministries.

Lives are being changed every day.

We are excited to officially announce Nathan Hulsey as the new Men’s Campus Director at Penfield Addiction Ministries!

Nathan’s appointment is especially meaningful because his journey with Penfield began in 2019, when he entered the program as a client. During that time, he experienced firsthand the hope, healing, and restoration that define Penfield’s mission. In 2020, after completing the program, Nathan joined Penfield’s staff as a Servant Leader Counselor, bringing with him a deep gratitude for the ministry and a strong desire to serve other men walking a similar path.

From the beginning of his employment, Nathan demonstrated a genuine heart for the men we serve and a steadfast commitment to Penfield’s mission. Since then, he has continued to grow both personally and professionally. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, advanced from CAC I to CAC II, and has consistently invested in developing his clinical knowledge and leadership skills. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling and is set to graduate in Summer 2026.
Nathan understands the culture, the calling, and the life-changing work that takes place on our Men’s Campus, not only because he has served here for years, but because he has lived the mission himself. His steady leadership, compassion, and dedication make him a natural fit for this role.

Please join us in congratulating Nathan and praying for him as he steps into this new season of leadership. We are confident that the mission of hope and transformation will continue to flourish under his direction.
The future is bright. 💙

💙 Community in action. 💙

We are incredibly grateful to First Baptist Church of Lavonia for opening their hearts and their space by allowing our ladies at the Penfield Heart Campus to use The Hanger for activities. Partnerships like this create safe, welcoming places for connection, growth, and healing.

Thank you for walking alongside Penfield and investing in the lives of women on the journey to freedom. This is what loving your neighbor looks like.

After years of faithful, servant hearted leadership, Bill King is stepping into retirement.

It’s hard to put into words what Bill has meant to Penfield Addiction Ministries. He hasn’t just led an organization, he has shepherded a mission. He has prayed with families in their hardest moments, walked alongside men seeking freedom, and believed in restoration when others had given up hope.

Because of Bill’s steady leadership and deep faith, countless lives have been changed. Families have been restored. Hope has been renewed. His fingerprints are on every part of this ministry.

While this season marks a transition in his role, it is not a goodbye. Bill will continue to stay involved with Penfield, and we are so grateful that his wisdom, heart, and presence will still be part of our community.

If you would like to personally thank Bill and celebrate his legacy, we invite you to join us at our upcoming Friends of Penfield Event, where he will be present. It will be a special opportunity to honor a man who has given so much.

Bill, thank you for your faithfulness, your leadership, and the love you’ve shown to so many. Your impact will echo for generations.

With deep gratitude.

Happy Valentine’s Day from Penfield Addiction Ministries.

Today we’re reminded of the kind of love that changes everything - steady, unconditional, and life-giving.

“We love because He first loved us.”
1 John 4:19

In recovery and in everyday life, God’s love meets us right where we are and leads us forward with grace.

May you feel that love today - in God’s presence, in your community, and in the hope that tomorrow can be different.

Happy Valentine’s Day. ❤️
