The College’s exceptional programs prepare students for distinguished careers in the sciences. Our nationally-renown faculty provide students with an outstanding education that values the critical thinking and creativity necessary to adapt to changing social, economic, and technological conditions. Collaboration with major corporations in the healthcare and technology sectors is integral part of the College's outreach mission. These partnerships enable the College to provide valuable services to the community and create exciting opportunities for our student’s professional and intellectual development. CNAHS faculty have been awarded over $2 million in new grants since Fall 2009. These include the prestigious Merck/AAAS Undergraduate Science Research Program from the Merck Institute for Science Education, five National Science Foundation (NSF) grants, and four National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants. Our cohort of diverse students represent the scientists, health professionals and teachers of tomorrow.

Kean University has named Dr. George Chang, former chair of the Department of Computer Science, as the acting dean of the College of Natural, Applied and Health Sciences. Chang assumed his new post on September 1.
