This past Saturday, December 6th, we once again had the honor of holding our annual Tree of Remembrance gathering.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. Your presence brought warmth, reflection, and a sense of togetherness.

The Galante Funeral Home family warmly invites you to our Annual Tree of Remembrance, a special gathering for all who are grieving the loss of a loved one. This event provides a comforting space to come together, honor those we’ve lost, and find support during the holiday season. A reception with refreshments will follow in our hospitality room.
The ceremony will be held at our Union location, 2800 Morris Avenue, on Saturday, December 6th at 2:00 PM.

To attend, please RSVP by calling 908-687-2110 or emailing GFH2800@gmail.com.
Kindly include your family name, the name of the loved one being remembered, and the number of attendees. We are also welcoming emailed photographs to be included in our remembrance slideshow.

On Saturday, November 1st at 1:00pm, the City of Newark will be holding a street naming dedication at the corner of Pacific Street and Walnut Street. This location is the site of our original Galante Funeral Home, where our history in funeral service began.

This dedication is a meaningful tribute to our family’s legacy and decades of service to our community. We invite friends, neighbors, and all who have shared in our history to join us as we celebrate this incredible honor.

We will be meeting on Saturday, November 1st at 1:00PM on the corner of Pacific Street and Walnut Street in Newark.

We look forward to honoring the roots that began it all, and to celebrating our future generations who will continue to carry our legacy.

At this exact moment, we pause to honor the lives forever changed on September 11, 2001.

At 8:46 AM, American Airlines Flight 11 struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
We remember the innocent lives lost, the heroic first responders who ran towards the danger, and the countless families who carry the weight of this tragedy every day.
May we never forget the unity, resilience, and love for one another that followed as a nation.

Our team here at Galante Funeral Home stands in solemn remembrance and reflection today, and always.
Let us take this moment to honor and hold in our hearts all those we have lost.
