EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT...
Today for our employee spotlight we see the many faces of Genie Horner. Genie we believe has the best job because she gets paid to have fun. She plans all the daily activities for our residents from morning excercise, games that challenge the intellect and just games that are fun. She takes residents on outings, and fills all the many bird feeders we have around the building. She's a little crazy which definitely helps for this position. Genie has a big heart and loves the residents greatly or as she calls them "Our peeps".

Our next employee is Crystal Downey. Crystal has been with us at Willow Brooke for over 18
Years. If asked to describe Crystal one would say she is the picture of quiet strength. She is a fierce defender of the residents at Willow Brooke as if they were her own family. Crystal's favorite show is Gunsmoke and she loves and cares for her grandchildren...they are her pride and joy.

Continuing our spotlight today on Elizabeth Giambalvo. Elizabeth has been with us 2 years this May. She started out at Willow Brooke as a dietary aide and graduated to a cook and helps out in housekeeping. The residents absolutely love her potato soup. Elizabeth is a gifted musician able to play the violin and piano and she loves doing wood work.

Our next employee to highlight for our employee appreciation week is Andrea "Andy" Howard.
Andy works in our dietary department. She is a fighter for our residents.
She is always there for them helping them and just being a friend. She's been with us a total of 6 years. She and her husband above an amazing green thumb and she always takes care of the sick plants we have at Willow Brooke.

Our next spotlight is Susan Saunders overnight CMA. Susan has been at Willow Brooke under a year and has already proven herself to be a vital part of Willow Brooke. She is always willing to fill in and do whatever it takes to give the best care to our residents. It's as if Susan has always been a part of the team. She is a talented seamstress and loves her grandchildren beyond measure.

Our next amazing working to highlight is Shelley Giambalvo. She is our Dining Service Coordinator and has been with us for almost 7 years. Shelley is a wonderful example of our "May I Take Your Order" program and serves our residents with patience and joy.
She has even helped other DSC's in our region when they need it. Her favorite flower is Sunflowers.

Kacey Rost has been with us here at Willow Brooke for 8 years and she is our daytime Lead CMA. She is rarely one that just sits and does nothing. She always finds something to work on which is a tremendous
blessing. Kacey's first love are her children and sweet husband Chad. In second place she absolutely loves Stanley Cups.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT...
Our next spotlight goes to Larissa Holaway. Larissa first came to Willow Brooke when she was a senior in high school. She said we were her "first real job" Larissa started out as shower aide and after awhile she realized she wanted to be more involved so she studied and took her CMA certification. There is no doubt that she loves each resident. She takes the time to get to know them and truly be there for them. A dream that Larissa has is to have a baby elephant for her back yard 😊

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT...
Our employee appreciation week continues with a shout out to the employee who has been at Willow Brooke the longest and that is Nancy Klepper. Nancy came to us back in 2003 and worked in the kitchen and from there the housekeeping. Nancy is a very generous person. She always makes sure every employee has a birthday card and is celebrated. Nancy works tireless hours in the community raising money for the Alzheimer's Foundation. Thank you Nancy for all you do.

Lesa Buttry has been a part of Americare since 2019 as a bookkeeper for Willow Brooke and 3 other Americare buildings.
Lesa is very meticulous with her work and is truly appreciated for what she does. She is always willing to help out with special activities we have at Willow Brooke like Family Fun Day, BINGO and lifting boxes (she's a strong bookkeeper 😉) Lesa enjoys traveling and seeing and experiencing new things.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT
This is Jackie our shower aide. She's been with Americare for over 6 years but with Willow Brooke a few months. Jackie's personality is that of a bubbly butterfly if there was such a thing. She takes great care in helping our residents with their showers . She even brings in nice cologne and body sprays so everyone smells nice and it makes them feel good about themselves. Jackie's favorite genre of movies to watch are Lifetime movies.
