We are currently collecting for Franklin County Foster Closet for the kids of Franklin County. Our community is very important to all of us at Americare Union Pointe because they are our family and friends. Supporting this endeavor to provide for the children of Franklin County is a priority for all of our team and residents.

Next time you are in the area, visiting a resident, or want to stop in and make a donation of personal care items, we know the community of Franklin County appreciates every item. You will find the 'tree' in our lobby and we are collecting until after the first of the year.

Caring for the aging community is a gift; an opportunity to give back to those that have given so much. Come join our team as a cook or dietary manager! We are a small community with some of the most amazing residents who appreciate a good meal and great conversation.

Our hometown schools are so supportive of our community members we try to reciprocate, especially during the holidays. For Halloween our community prepared goodie bags for the children at Immaculate Conception then Brittany, Jessica, Ms. Barb and Ms. Carol delivered them. The children were thrilled to receive them and Ms. Carol enjoyed seeing their smiling faces and receiving so much appreciation. We are so fortunate to have this beautiful connection. Have a safe and happy Halloween everyone! Visit your local nursing homes for trick-or-treating! The smiles will be abundant - candy usually too!

In honor of First Responder's Day Tuesday, October 28, Brittany Halcott, Ms. Barb and Ms. Carol took some fresh baked treats to Union Missouri Police Department to celebrate our local women and men that provide safety and support to our residents and community. Thank you to each of them for everything!
