🚿 Does Your Water Smell Like Rotten Eggs? Here’s What You Need to Know! 🥚💨

If you’re noticing a “rotten egg” smell in your drinking water, don’t panic! This odor is typically caused by sulfur bacteria or hydrogen sulfide gas in your water.

👨‍🔧 Possible Causes & Easy Fixes:

✅ Water Heater: The smell may be coming from your water heater’s anode rod, which can be replaced easily to solve the problem.

✅ Your Well: Sometimes, the odor is coming directly from your well water. A well chlorination can often take care of the issue.

✅ Persistent Issues: If the smell keeps coming back, you may need to consider adding a sulfur filter to your home.

Having trouble figuring out the source? We’re always happy to help answer questions about your water quality and guide you on next steps to keep your water clean and safe for your family.
