Our 2026 Vision Board Workshop was a beautiful reminder that goal-setting has no age limit. Together, we gathered with scissors, magazines, and plenty of imagination to craft collages that reflect what we hope to welcome into the year ahead.

From places we dream of visiting and experiences we want to try, to intentions we want to embody and attitudes we hope to carry forward, each vision board told a personal and meaningful story. The room was filled with creativity, reflection, conversation, and encouragement as we shared ideas, memories, and aspirations for what’s next.

One of the things we treasure most here at StoryPoint Union is the incredible community partners who help us create meaningful, elevated experiences for our residents—and we want to raise a glass in appreciation.

A heartfelt thank-you to Angi Harreld of Homewatch CareGivers for hosting an elegantly delightful wine tasting for our residents. From thoughtful pairings to warm conversation, every detail reflected care, generosity, and genuine connection.

Residents enjoyed sampling wines from Brianza Winery, a fantastic local winery right here in Northern Kentucky—paired perfectly with cheeses, fruits, and sweet bites, and even better company. The smiles, toasts, and lively discussion around the table said it all.

✨ Our New Year’s Eve Glow Party was LIT with glowing glasses, neon necklaces, laughter, and all the good vibes. Residents enjoyed a festive evening filled with pizza, bingo, music, and plenty of sparkle as we counted down to a brand-new year together.

✨ What a year it’s been here at StoryPoint Union! From ringing in the year with a vibrant Chinese New Year celebration 🧧 to dancing the night away at our Valentine’s Dance 💕, testing our luck with the viral Luck of the Irish slot machine 🍀, and meeting both the Easter Bunny 🐰 and The Grinch 💚—2025 was packed with joy, laughter, and heart.

Along the way, we celebrated the Kentucky Derby 🐎, wandered through lavender gardens, roared into summer Born to Be Wild style on motorcycles 🏍️, soaked up sunshine on a pontoon ride ☀️, gave back with a visit to an Eastern Kentucky elementary school 💙, honored our beloved veterans 🇺🇸, and made memories at every turn.

🎄Our Christmas crafting workshops were a holly-jolly hit—full of up-cycled Christmas trees, festive holiday décor, and resident-led classes that proved creativity (and cheer!) only gets better with time. From turning the old into oh-so-magical to decking the halls with handmade flair, these workshops had us glued, glittered, and wrapped up in the holiday spirit.

🎄What better way to celebrate Christmas than with frosting-covered fingers, bursts of laughter, and a little friendly competition? Our Gingerbread House Contest was a deliciously colorful highlight of the day—where creativity ran wild and joy filled the room.

From beautifully delicate designs to charming architectural “learning experiences,” every house brought smiles, conversation, and holiday cheer. While each creation was a winner in taste and spirit, Pat truly stole the show—taking home First Place for Best Design with a gingerbread masterpiece worthy of admiration.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this sweet tradition one to remember. Moments like these are what make the season—and our community—so special. 🎁

Breakfast With the Grinch 🎄💚

The Grinch came to breakfast! Yes—right here, it’s true.
He showed up at StoryPoint Union… who knew?!

There were pancakes and laughter and coffee that steamed,
And smiles that were brighter than even he’d dreamed.

He posed for some pictures (no sneers, no attacks),
He listened, he lingered… he didn’t steal snacks.

By the end of the meal, if you happened to look,
That Grinch looked much cheerier than he did in the book.

So here’s to a morning that started just right—
With good food, good friends, and a Grinchy delight. 💚
