We were proud to take part in the 2026 ECP Medical Leadership Meeting, where Jorgy Mathew, Associate Chief Medical Officer, and Stefan Muehlbauer, Chairperson of Emergency Medicine at St. Francis Hospital, delivered a powerful presentation, “Making Your ED Indispensable.” Their insights highlighted key strategies for strengthening emergency departments through leadership, alignment, and operational excellence—resonating strongly with medical directors and physician leaders in attendance.

The week was filled with engaging conversations, fresh perspectives, and meaningful connections with emergency medicine leaders from across the country—making for an energizing and impactful conclusion to a great Medical Leadership Meeting experience.

Today we’re recognizing the hospitalists who keep inpatient care running smoothly and who play an essential role in every patient’s journey. In the ED, we see firsthand how important this partnership is.
