Macrina Manor is a 133 bed, not for profit, skilled nursing facility that has served Southwestern Pennsylvania since 1971. The grounds are located approximately one hour south of Pittsburgh in a scenic, peaceful rural area directly off Route 40 in Uniontown. The facility offers 24 hour nursing care, rehabilitative services, memory care, outpatient therapy, and pastoral care to all denominations. We accept all residents without regard to race, color, age, s*x, national origin, religious creed, disability or genetic information. Our mission is based upon the sponsorship of the Sisters of St. Our staff continues the mission of the Sisters of providing joyous, compassionate care that preserves the human dignity of all that we serve.

Here are some Christmas pictures from last week! Our residents had a busy yet joy-filled holiday season, made extra special with visits from Mr. and Mrs. Claus and their cheerful elves. Festive decorations filled the halls, and there were plenty of smiles as our residents enjoyed opening presents. It was truly a wonderful Christmas celebration. Happy Holidays to everyone! 🎄✨

December has been a very busy and joyful month for our residents, with fun-filled activities including music, Christmas games, a magic show, carolers from local churches & Girl Scouts, decorating cookies, shopping at the Manor Mart, singing with OSPTA staff, and much much more ! 🎄🎅

Today we were blessed with a special visitor. Saint Nicholas himself stopped by the facility to spread joy, kindness, and Christmas cheer to all our residents!

Saint Nicholas, known for his generosity and compassion, has long been celebrated as a protector of children, the elderly, and those in need. His spirit of giving continues to inspire the holiday season, reminding us that small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Our residents loved his visits, the smiles, laughter, and excitement filled the halls with warmth. 💖

🌟 Live Nativity 2025 was a Magical Success! 😇
To all our incredible volunteers and community supporters who helped bring this beautiful event to life. We are truly grateful for each and every one of you!

A warm and heartfelt thank you to the Sisters of Saint Basil, the dedicated staff of Mt. Macrina, and all the wonderful volunteers who gave their time, energy, and spirits to make this year unforgettable, your smiles warmed the night, your dedication inspired us all, and your spirit of giving truly reflects the meaning of Christmas, (these volunteers stood bravely in the bitter cold for two full hours)🥶 your devotion and cheerful hearts lit up the night more than you know. You are the heart of this event!

Special thanks to Greenfield Farms for providing the animals for our Nativity scene, and a shout-out to Joseph’s Nursery and Garden Center for generously donating the 18-foot live Christmas tree 🌲.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to all the local businesses, radio stations, social media partners, and parishes who helped spread the word and support our mission.
