New Horizons, Inc., incorporated November of 1955, is a private, nonprofit Connecticut 501(c) (3) organization that owns and operates both New Horizons Village and Cherry Brook Health Care Center. Our mission is to be the area's center of excellence for providing the best barrier-free quality housing option for adults with physical disabilities and inpatient and outpatient nursing home care. At Cherry Brook, professional, knowledgeable, and skilled staff members provide top-quality, progressive healthcare and rehabilitative programs and services. At New Horizons Village, Village Care Attendants provide personal care assistance in complements with the Personal Care Attendant program, which allows each resident to have a PCA working directly for them to assist with daily care needs.
