🧐If you look closely, you'll see a little twitching just behind his nostril and you'll see I don't even have the attachment close to his nose. This is because just below the skin, is a layer of Fascia.
🐴Did you know fascia plays a crucial role in your horse's overall health and movement? Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, bones, nerves, and organs. It forms a network throughout the body, supporting structure, and helping with efficient movement.
💠In horses, a healthy fascia system helps maintain flexibility, reduce injury risk, and improve performance. However, when fascia becomes restricted or tight, it can lead to discomfort, stiffness, or even lameness.
🔸️Signs of fascia issues may include:
Reduced range of motion, Muscle tightness or soreness and Behavioral changes (e.g., reluctance to work or unusual gait)
💕Regular stretching, bodywork (like PEMF), and proper care are key to keeping fascia healthy and preventing issues.
