We are so excited to announce our upcoming Couples Workshop!
This has been in the making for years and we are so excited to see this finally become a reality! We will have limited availability. Don't wait to snag your spot!
Over the years we have all been told things like "I wish my husband could massage like you", "I wish my wife could dig into my shoulders like that", and "my partner can only work on my neck for 2 minutes, and then they're done". This is completely normal unless you are with a massage therapist. Even then it's not a guarantee! Who wants to do more massages when they get home from a day of doing massages? Ha!
Along with many complaints from spouses/partners, we get lots of marriage proposals. All of this to say, there is a need we would love to fill for our patients. The need to be able to put your hands on your love and help them take away some pain or even just to loved one on them after a difficult day.
So we have been working on a solution and will be doing a workshop for couples to come and learn how to give an effective massage. This will be an intro to massage that will be the best date night experience for couples to reconnect and learn something too. You'll learn some techniques and even some anatomy along with learning to talk to each other about how the massage feels and how to improve. No more massages that came straight out of a Friends episode. As massage therapists, we cringe watching Phoebe (and especially Ross) give massages.
What To Expect
The workshop is about 3 hours long. We will start off with a small meet and greet followed by some basic anatomy lessons to help with learning how to feel for the right painful spots. Then we will go over several different techniques starting with a basic neck and shoulders massage including the scalp as well.
Everyone will remain fully dressed. This will be in a group setting and will be taught by our very own massage therapists who will be there to make sure everyone is getting help.
We will also help you learn to communicate with your partner so that you each will learn what your partner needs from you. Often we, even massage therapists, massage the way we want to be massaged. Let's learn to communicate to be able to give and receive the best we can.
There will be light refreshments, and you get to make your own blend of oil to take home and use. Think of a fun night together without phones interrupting your connection with each other, fully focused on loving touch and being completely present.
When is the workshop?
Sunday, February 12th at 4 pm, for 6 couples
If there is high demand, we will open more dates in the near future.
How much and how do you sign up?
This is our brand new workshop, so we are offering it discounted to get the word out. For now, you can grab your spot for only $347 per couple. So, grab your spot before it costs more. This includes the class, refreshments, and the oils taken home.
We will have limited spaces so don't wait if you are truly interested. We are not able to use our usual massagebook software for this. For now, you will need to call to reserve your spot. We will then send you an invoice for full payment and a waiver to be signed to secure that reservation. This has to be paid and signed within 24 hours of the invoice being sent or your spot will not be saved. There is a 7-day cancelation policy. If you need to cancel you MUST cancel more than 7 days ahead of the class or you forfeit the cost of the class. You may gift your spot to another couple if you can't make it, as long as new waivers are signed ahead of time.

This has been a dream of Bethany's for many years. She can't wait to share this dream with all of you. The first few workshops will be taught by Bethany with the help of one of the other therapists so they can learn to teach these as well.
This is just the beginning of the workshops and classes that we will be offering. This workshop, and continuations from it, will be offered throughout the year as we see the need for it. We are working on offering all kinds of fun classes and workshops for our patients and eventually some continuing education for other Massage Therapists as well. Lots of new and exciting dreams coming true soon!
