PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT WANTED Immediately!
PCA Job Summary: We are currently seeking a compassionate, highly-skilled, and reliable personal care assistant (PCA) to serve as part of our growing respite care team.
PCA Duties and Responsibilities
In this role, you will work with our clients who are developmentally challenged in their homes. Helping them with basic personal hygiene and domestic tasks as needed, according to their requirements and limitations.
You will provide compassionate care and assistance. Travel to clients’ homes, arriving on time. Greet clients in a warm, professional manner. Run errands, either with or for the client.
PCA Requirements and Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A current certificate in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
A Valid driver’s license, a reliable automobile, and current auto insurance are required. minimum of one year of working experience. Significant experience working with clients with developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
