Thank you to Ramsey and Cherish for your stories shared this past week, with photos shot at DeBeen HP.

On Wed eve, frequent customer Ramsey went with his favorite "iced white mocha latte with 2% milk. I always get that. I should venture out and try new things, but I love the white mocha! It's never too late in the day for DeBeen!"

On Thurs morning, Cherish chose a classic hot "brown sugar latte with oat milk! It's my usual.

"I did some journaling while there. I’ve always come in to get a drink to go, but never sat in DeBeen to enjoy it. It's been a long time since I've taken the time to sit in a coffee shop and chill. Felt good!"

I love lady bugs and actually have a tattoo of one. So when I saw the stickers on the counter, I had to add it to my coffee experience!

So many beautiful flowering trees and wisteria blooming in the Triad right now. Flowers and color might pop up in unexpected locations.

This was shot yesterday eve in the parking lot of DeBeen HP. Yup, look around when you park. Might see wisteria! Our flowers in front of the cafe are starting to bloom as well.

And keep looking up! The bottom photo is of the near-quarter waxing moon, also shot yesterday eve. Seen above cherry blossoms that are fading now. But dogwood and azalea are coming into bloom!

Spring is here! Last week, we returned to
High Point University for a coffee walk. Through the fall, free garden walks are offered on Weds at 9 am. Reservations are required.

Led by HPU's knowledgeable guide, Rachel Diaz, we started by the main entrance to the campus, and walked around the gardens to eventually make our way over to the greenhouse. We saw, touched, and sniffed our way through, learning plant and environmental info along the way.

Our tour included several of the The Mariana H. Qubein Arboretum & Botanical Gardens 30+ campus gardens. The plantings are lovely through the seasons. As are the impressive sculptures, water features, and architectural details. There's always something new to appreciate!

We were excited to see the gardens in early spring, with nature just beginning to yawn and stretch awake. Love the gossamer leaf and flower buds, seen through soft, filtered light! But over the past week or so, spring has further blossomed. Toward the end of the reel, we dropped in a few flowering tree shots, photos taken this week from around the Triad.

HPU is an easy bike ride or a few minutes by car from DeBeen HP. Reserve a spot through the HPU Gardens Instagram feed. Groups can arrange special tours. Wear sensible shoes since there are stairs and it's a rolling landscape.
