Ladies, are you experiencing hormonal imbalances or symptoms like PMS, acne, or mood swings?

Taking care of your hormonal health is crucial for overall well-being, and certain supplements can help!

Here are some top supplements to consider for healthy hormones:

1. Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Found in fish oil and Flax seed, can help reduce inflammation and promote hormonal balance.

2. Probiotics: These beneficial bacteria can support gut health, which is closely linked to hormonal health.

3. Magnesium: This mineral is involved in hormone production and can help alleviate PMS symptoms.

4. Vitamin D: This nutrient is essential for hormone production and can improve mood and energy levels.

5. Herbal supplements like ashwagandha, maca, rhodiola, and chasteberry may also support hormonal health.

Remember to always consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement regimen, and prioritize a healthy diet, regular exercise, and stress management for optimal hormonal health.

Is this you?

Taking birth control pills for irregular periods
Taking pain pills for menstrual pain and migraines
Eating “low fat” foods and drinking “diet” drinks to lose weight
Scrolling on your phone to fall asleep
Buying every trendy skincare product to get rid of acne

Congratulations, you’ve been doing a great job at “How NOT to fix your problems.”

What do I mean?

First of all, it’s not your fault. I, like you and many other women, have fallen prey to good marketing and misinformation.

All of those things address the symptoms not the problem.

Fix the cause not the symptom.

What’s the cause? HORMONE IMBALANCE

Now that you know what your problem is, you can find a solution to solve it.

Are you afraid of eating carbs?

We need carbs.

Carbs give us energy

Eat oats for breakfast. Not that instant crap. Eat organic rolled oats

Why?

Organic doesn’t have pesticides that cause cancer and are bad for our hormones.

Rolled oats contains more fiber which keeps us fuller longer, cleans out our gut, lowers cholesterol and is a prebiotic. Prebiotics feed the good bacteria in our gut.

Why eat it for breakfast?

Oats are 68% carbohydrates, 6% fat, and 13% protein.

Eating carbs at the start of your day gives you fuel to burn for the rest of the day. It’s like filling up your car with gas at the beginning of your road trip.

Eating within 1 hour of waking up boosts your metabolism so you’re burning more calories throughout the day.

If you’re thinking, “but I don’t like oatmeal,” then I’ll say, “why?”

If it’s the flavor, then you’re not adding the right ingredients. You have to think of oatmeal as the foundation upon which you can add any and all of your favorites.

Some suggestions:
Cinnamon
Sweetener: Stevia, Maple syrup
Berries: blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries
Apples
Nuts: almonds, walnuts, pecans, cashews, peanut butter
Seeds: pumpkin, sunflower, chia, flax

If it’s the texture, then you’re either adding too much or too little water.

If it’s the time it takes to make it, then soak the oats the night before. It’s called Overnight Oats. It’s a thing now.

If it’s all of the above, then make granola. You can get creative or keep it simple with the ingredients. You can make them chewy or crunchy.

Stop with the BS excuses.

If you want to be healthy, make it a priority. Make good choices.

If you have any of the following…

Irregular periods
Weight gain
Trouble sleeping
Mood swings
Hot flashes
Night sweats
Acne
Painful periods
Migraines

You have a problem.

If you’re thinking “but it’s totally normal because everyone I talk to or know has it too.”

Wrong!

Just because it’s common does not mean it is normal. It just means it’s common.

Your hormones are probably the reason.

They are not balanced. Something is out of whack.

Now that you know you have a problem, you can start doing something about it.

Do I need to take vitamins? Should I be taking vitamins? Why does someone take vitamins?

1 factor to consider when deciding if you should be taking supplements is your DIETARY HABITS.

🍎🥦🍉Do you regularly eat a variety of whole, nutrient-rich foods?

🌱Are you vegan/plant-based?

Unless your diet is nutrient rich 100% of the time, consider taking a good quality multi-vitamin.

Choose one that is appropriate for your age and gender.

♀Women and ♂men have different needs biologically. Consider taking a high quality multi-vitamin specifically for your biological make up.

Women under 50 bodies required different minerals than those over the age of 50. Consider taking a high quality for you current age to provide your body with the nutrients it demands.

if you are Vegan or Plant-based, consider adding these supplements to your daily routine:
💊Vitamin B-12 supports a healthy metabolism, brain and heart health.

🥄BCAA’s helps with protein synthesis and minimizes fatigue.

Keep in mind that the right supplements for you will depend on your individual needs. It’s best to consult with a healthcare professional to determine if you have any specific deficiencies that need to be addressed.

Dandelion and Coconut Tea

☕️ Is a great alternative to coffee. It has the depth of flavor like coffee without the caffeine.

🌼Dandelion is a prebiotic so as to support good digestion.

☠️It also helps the kidneys clear toxins.

⚖️Helps the liver balance hormones and lower cholesterol.

🥥Coconut suppresses appetite and increases metabolism aiding in weight loss. Plus I love the smell and taste of coconut, it reminds me of Hawaii 🌺

🚀 Roasted Chicory can be brewed just like coffee and it looks just like it too. But it’s caffeine free. You’ll get your energy boost from the nutrients not the caffeine.

💩 It has quite a few health benefits. Chicory supports gut health and your immune system. The Inulin from chicory root is a prebiotic soluble fiber that nourishes probiotics and can help relieve constipation.

🩸It improve blood sugar control for people with type 2 diabetes.

⬇️ It can also help regulate appetite by decreasing ghrelin, the HORMONE that stimulates hunger, therefore helping with weight loss.

✅ Why do I think this is a good option? Chicory helps BALANCE HORMONES.
