We have exciting news!! 🎉 Our resident handyman spent the day installing our new gym flooring!! We can’t wait for you to come play!! 😍

While we aren’t fully back up and running, we have been working hard to get everyone back to therapy! We are waiting on our gym flooring to arrive, but we were able to make it work with mats and cushions that were spared, to open one of our 3 sensory gyms! Thank you to all of our amazing families for being flexible and understanding. Thank you to our amazing staff for jumping in, adapting, and getting us back in the swing!!

Resilience is something we’ve learned from the children and families we serve. Each day, they rise to challenges with courage and perseverance,
and in this season, they inspire us to do the same.

As we face one of our company’s biggest setbacks, we’re working hard to reopen in part. While our sensory gyms remain closed, we’ve created a safe, therapeutic space that may look different, but still carries the same care and purpose.

We ask for your patience and grace as we take these steps forward. Consistency matters, and we are committed to showing up, with love, resilience, and gratitude for this community. Starting tomorrow, we’ll reopen part of our clinic for our families. If your child’s therapist feels they may struggle with the change in our use of space, they will reach out to you to discuss alternatives. We are determined to continue to provide you with the best therapy provided in the area! Thank you again for your patience as we get back to doing what we love!!

Due to extensive water damage from a roof leak last night, Suma Kids will be closed for the remainder of this week. We are optimistic about reopening next week.

If you have a session scheduled for Monday, your therapist will reach out directly to keep you updated.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and truly appreciate your understanding. 💙 Please know that we’ll work with you to make up any missed sessions once we are back in the building.

“The art show was a very sweet thing that S and our whole family really enjoyed!! S doesn’t get as many opportunities to show off things he is working on, so it was really special for him to be able to show off what he does at OT! “ -S’s Mom

🎨✨ This little art show wasn’t just about creativity, it was a celebration of connection, progress, and joy.

One of our kiddos, who’s been working hard (and sometimes reluctantly!) on handwriting and visual motor skills, had the chance to share his artwork with his family. Turning a challenge into a choice, made it meaningful.

Rooted in meaningful occupation, this experience supported his self-expression, confidence, and participation on his own terms. 💛
