We are so excited to be teaming up again with Rescue Ranchito, an incredible local rescue and sanctuary doing truly meaningful work. 💛

Based right here in Summit County, Rescue Ranchito rescues horses, donkeys, and other equines who are at risk of neglect, abandonment, or the slaughter pipeline.

They provide these animals with the care, rehabilitation, and compassion they need, and when possible, help them find safe, loving homes—or give them a peaceful place to land for life.

It is with a heavy heart (and much excitement for next chapters) that, after nine years, Hugo's kind-hearted OG Beth Brown is moving on to her next chapter. Heavy hearted for me personally because I love Beth. Excitement for Beth because she's going from what Beth describes as her dream job with Hugo Coffee Roasters to a dream career opportunity.

If you’ve ever emailed, called, coordinated a fundraiser, or connected with Hugo Coffee or Fluffy Cow Coffee in any meaningful way — chances are, you’ve encountered Beth. She has been the logistical heart behind so many of those moments, building relationships with animal welfare partners across the country and supporting the community that defines our brand.

An animal lover through and through, Beth had a deep love for her heart dog, Scarlet. After she crossed the rainbow bridge, it took someone special to open her heart again — and Jack, our tri-pod, smiling office pal, helped her find her way back to that kind of love. 💛

We’re grateful for everything Beth has contributed over the years and wish her all the best in what’s ahead.
