I know that several of you knew that don and I had doctors appointment today!!! His was with the lung doctor. His lungs are clear no signs of any disease!! But his lungs are only expanding to 43% of what they should be. The doctor is working with his heart doc and his arthritis doctor to see why this is happening! We would appreciate your prayers as he has really gone down hill the past month
My appointment was with my heart doctor. I do have AFIB !! At this time he does feel like we need to do anything. A lot of it might be caused because of my lungs. He suggested that I try and see the lung doctor since I was in town and they are in the same building and my husband was seeing him already! So I did. I have not felt well still Saturday. I ran a low grade fever Saturday night and Sunday night with a pretty bad cough. My lung doctor did check it out and thought there might be a new set if infections growing so I went to the hospital for a X-ray. Dr Abraham will read it and if the disease in my lungs has kicked back up I will go back on the IV meds again. We are trying to stay ahead of this to get it completely killed out. I would like for all to pray for me and Don. This is very hard for both of us. We try to help each other and it is like the blind leading the blind. So far we haven’t fallen in the ditch!!!! Lol. God has been good to us and we are thankful. I know there are greater things in store for us. We miss all of our family friends and our church. God bless all of you and thanks for your love and prayers!!!

After a bunch of miscommunication, Momma is finally headed home. Thanks for all your prayers, that is what got us through.

Doctor was just in. If all goes well Momma should get to go home tomorrow. He said he will try to get her out before noon. She will have to go back on those three antibiotics plus the IV meds when she leaves. He is hopeful that with that much in there it will kill out enough of the desease to where the 3 antibiotics will pick up and take over. They talked about what if these meds don't work!!! He said then he will search for another one He said he would see her in the morning and him and a nurse would go overall of it. Thank you for all your prayers and prayers

I called Momma's Dr Abraham office this is what they said. "I know your mom is getting antsy but she will not be discharged until the intervenes meds are set in stone. Who will administer them, when and all that information. Because if she misses 1 dose she will be back in the hospital. And he is supposed to make his rounds after clinic today." So we will see. When I talked to Momma, her voice sounded really good and strong. The prayers are working, thank you very much, please keep them coming.

Mom is eating a bite of breakfast. Slept good, and no fever since yesterday. God is Good. Thanks for all the prayers. Love y'all

Today has been a bad day. Putting that pic line into her chest stirred that mess up and she is hurting real bad. They are trying to get the fever down with tynoel. She ate what supper she could. Praying for a better night, she will get to go home tomorrow. Thank you for all your prayers.

Doctor was just in. Had a good visit.
Now we are going to work on checking out this pic line and getting everything bin place for tomorrow. If all goes well I should be leaving for home by about 10:30 in the morning!!!

Momma didn't get much rest. They moved her to a different room about 10:30 That was ok. Just had this uneasy pain in my lungs. Coughed until I was give out!! Finally got settled down with pain meds about 2:30 and slept pretty good until about five. Got up to use the bathroom and fell back asleep until they brought breakfast. Ate part of it. It was good. Waiting on towels and washcloth so I can get a shower. The pic line has been put in and everything went good.

Just got a text from Momma - she is real tired and her lungs hurt bad, they are fixing to give her more pain meds. They didn't do the pic line today, maybe tomorrow. Thanks for all the prayers.

The doctor was just in her lungs are really sick but hopefully we are on the right road to getting them help. She will stay on antibiotics for about five weeks . Then will change back to the three antibiotics that she was taking. This is a very serious lung disease and is very hard to get rid of. She will always have to be careful where she goes!!! One thing that makes it hard is her high tolerance to pain, she doesn't know how sick she is until it's gotten so bad. The damage that is done is done no reverse!!

Just got a text from Momma, she slept about 4 hours last night and ate some breakfast this morning. Doctor Abraham will put in a pic line today for antibiotics. Keep her in your prayers.
