This is a phrase coined by Adrian Louw for the use of pain neuroscience education. But I find it a very applicable phrase for my concussion patients. When recovering from concussion it’s important to not completely avoid symptoms while also not overdoing it. This allows your brain to gradually habituate to normal activity.
