WE CAN'T DO THIS WITHOUT YOU!
At Lake Eyasi Womens Vocational School we are trying to raise enough funding to get a well! The school is located in a very small village in Tanzania Africa. The average Tanzanian girl will never go to school or learn a trade, and therefore be married off between the ages of 12 & 15. What our amazing school does is give these young women a chance at an education so they can survive on their own without being forced to marry a stranger. Currently these girls are walking 2 miles multiple times daily, just to get the water most of us take for granted. The water that they have access to is far from clean or drinkable. This well would drastically change the lives of everyone in the village. The access to clean water will save valuable time that could be spent in the class room, it would cut back the number of water born illness, lastly it would prolong the life of the livestock to use to transport the heavy water jugs. Their day consists of surviving by trying to retrieve water, how do you spend your day?
