Elbow Extension Stretch (Palm Up) π«΄
Regaining full elbow extension is crucial, especially for athletes coming back from surgery or dealing with post-injury stiffness. This stretch helps restore the end-range mobility needed for proper throwing mechanics and reduced stress on the elbow joint.
For overhead athletes, even small losses in elbow extension can lead to compensation at the shoulder and increase strain on the forearm and UCL. Opening this range back up improves control, reduces irritation, and supports healthier, more efficient movement overall.
