Happy Long-Term Care Administrator Week to a woman who has poured her heart into this work and into the people she serves โ Tracy Bohrer. ๐
Tracy is the kind of leader who does not just manage a building โ she carries a mission. She sees Riverbend through the eyes of compassion, through the heart of family, and through the belief that every resident, every family, and every staff member matters. Her leadership is not only seen in the big decisions, but in the way she shows up every single day with strength, grace, and unwavering commitment.
Her story is powerful. Tracy began her healthcare journey in laundry and housekeeping. Working her way up to Executive Director. That journey alone speaks volumes. It speaks to sacrifice, resilience, determination, and a deep love for serving others. She has built her career from the ground up and, along the way, has mentored and trained so many future leaders, leaving a lasting impact on this profession.
Since returning to Riverbend in 2023, Tracy has helped move this building forward in remarkable ways. Under her leadership, Riverbend became one of the few facilities on the Kansas side to provide in-house dialysis โ a huge step in improving continuity and access to care. She has also championed accountability and consistency by building a team focused on caring for our residents with our own staff, not agency, because she understands just how deeply continuity of care matters.
We celebrate Tracy not only for what she has accomplished, but for who she is โ for her courage, her wisdom, her compassion, and the way she keeps pushing, keeps believing, and keeps fighting to make Riverbend the very best it can be. Her impact is felt in every hallway, every resident room, every family interaction, and every staff member she leads.
Riverbend is better because of Tracy Bohrer. And today, this week, and all year long, we celebrate her with gratitude, admiration, and so much love. ๐
