While visiting friends at Gems Assisted Living, Sarah spent some time chatting with Deb (with the help of her amazing caregiver, Heather, bridging the communication gap) and learned just how much she loved having her hair done.
So, Sarah being Sarah… she came back the very next day to make it happen 💇♀️✨
The results? Absolutely beautiful—but even more than that, it was the smile, the confidence, and the joy that made it so special.

Spending time with our friends at Gems Assisted Living is always a highlight! Today we shared some delicious donuts (which were a huge hit 🍩) and enjoyed getting creative together with arts and crafts in preparation for upcoming festivities.
Arts and crafts are more than just fun—they’re wonderful for seniors because they help keep minds active, encourage creativity, improve fine motor skills, and create opportunities for conversation and connection. Most importantly, they bring smiles, laughter, and a sense of accomplishment.
