Hello my lovely Spiritualisters.
I pulled a card from the Spiritual Messages Oracle Deck by John Holland yesterday. It was the Memories card. It read, "Your memories are like diamonds in the treasure chest of your spirit" and " Remember the happier moments with your loved ones who are in Spirit World...for neither time nor distance can stop the energy of love you have for one another"
This got me thinking about how something so simple can have deep and yet different meanings. You see we all loved and still love our nearest and dearest who have passed over. But often after the death we tend to see their faults (yes they had faults when they were here on this earth as we all do) as part and parcel of them so to speak. We may not forgive the bad ones but we tend to at least selectively recall those that are easier to recognise and remember and at worst bury or completely avoid the ones that caused us pain. However, as time goes by their faults do become easier to accept or even forget. This is where I see the part about 'diamonds of our spirit treasure chest' comes in. For diamonds are often rubbed and polished up so pretty which then makes the stone almost, if not completely, perfect. We smooth and rub our memories of our loved ones the same way to enable our recall to feel so right.
On a different level, the later part of the card, I believe indicates another dimension which in fact is a dilemma for me, You see we all can say we love our departed loved ones. But how? when they were alive we had something physical to love. Now they are passed over, while we love their memories and their essence, do we say "I love my grand parent/aunt/sibling/partner etc as in they are still present on this earth...or do we say I loved that person as in they are now no longer earthbound and so have stopped loving them. As always this is just my thoughts and opinions. I mean no offence in anything I post.

Home or Away.

Hello my lovely Spiritualisters

The other day I was in the mood for a bit of Tarot retail therapy and my first port of call as usual was Ebay. While I was surfing through the Tarot Cards and Decks for sale, I noticed a couple of offers had shipping from China. Now first of all, I have to admit, I was a bit like ‘ China?!? Gosh, they sell everything now, even Tarot cards :-?’ . Snobby or what? The thought of buying a deck of cards from Ebay via China just seemed off to me. Well,it did for a while. You see the Ebay ads stayed around in the back of my mind that day and then you might say I had an epiphany. My main thought was ‘who am I to turn up my nose to Chinese sellers of Tarot or whatever kind of decks. After all the odds were, some, if not many, companies that mass sold tarot decks probably ordered their stock from China. And as far as we, as the buyers, would never know the difference except if there was an error in the deck. I had to admit, in a way I kind of believed there must have been little fairies or elves or some other special workers in the UK (and US and other country) back rooms printing these hundreds and thousands of Tarot decks. I do think or would like to believe there are some contracts for printing of decks completed on our home shores. But I bet a lot more then we know are printed and shipped from overseas as in China and surrounding countries. Now this doesn’t mean I won’t order from China. I have no ill feeling and mean no offence in their offer and availability of Tarot cards. Not at all. But if the cards I buy do originate from long distance shores, I prefer to remain in ignorance at least for the unforeseen future.

Hello Lovely Spiritualisters. Today I want to talk about Angels. Some people believe in them and others don't. I do. Though there have been days in the past when I have had my doubts. Lately they have shown me signs too hard to ignore. Which for me has now cemented my belief in them.
Heres what happened. I had been doubting myself and my connection lately. But my lovely Angels were listening. First was obtaining an emergency dentist appt with no fees on a day of short notice at holiday time. Second on a hospital open appointment, had just a five minute wait in the hospital for a chest xray ( this dept has never had no waiting and usually is at least an hour ). The third is..Ii have been struggling with identifying what I am as in a reader or an advisor and how to integrate the tarot and other divinatory tools with my angels and my psychology degree. I asked my angels for help on this.They answered.me by sending me to a random blog that explained the differences. Then I heard clear as day 'Spiritual Counsellor'. So that's what I am. Recently I asked for a specific software program cheap...my daughter surpridsinly purchased the exact one for the price I wanted to pay..so this ended up helping both of us. Here's where I think our Angels have a sense of humour or are a bit cheeky. Last week I was discussing moving into the business side as a SC and that I really should get a second phone. Fast forward 5 days later and my current phone goes missing possibly lost forever ( unusually for me I had left it at work but thought it might have been lost or worse stolen) and spent a lot of time over the weekend researching a new phone coming to the conclusion if my phone was found it was now time for a second phone. Phone found and now I'm asking my Angels for a cheap brand new great phone for zero down and a great new mobile contract. Thank you Angels and watch this space. :-)

Hello Lovely Spiritualisters. I have a confession to make. I have become a bit of a Tarot/Oracle Deck collector. You may think thats not so bad. and it may not be. But see for a long time I had just a couple of decks and I was satisfied. I had an Rider Waite Smith deck as most do starting out. I loved this deck. If a deck can be a partner, this was mine. Fast forward a couple of years, still very happy with my RWS, but while in a Spiritual shop one day, I see the Tarot in the Moon Garden Deck by Karen Marie Sweikhardt. Loved this deck...not as much as my RWS but love it was. Wasn't something I used like I did with my other deck but was glad I had it. Fast forward 10 or so more years and again in a Spiritual sho0p and feel drawn to another new deck. This time Old English Tarot by Maggie Kneen. Where my RWS gave me the straight forward pictures and Moon Garden had the fantasy element, Old english had a touch of whimsy and fairy tale elements. That same day..now I think back. I actually purchased my first introduction to Oracle cards...though I didn't really know or understand what Oracle cards were then. In fact, for some years after...not realising I already owned an Oracle deck as well as a couple of Angel Decks, (I'm now embarrased to admit) I turned my nose up believing Tarot was the "only" deck to read. Fast forward a few more years and lo and behold I discover the holy grail of you tube reviews of Tarot decks... well that was it. And not only Tarot but Oracle decks!!! Even Lenormand Decks!! Yep, you've probably guessed it, this is where the collection started. Because of course these same decks reviewd were also on Ebay and other sites and for low prices!!. And yes I got the buying bug. So I had a count up of decks the other day and was a bit surprised...even a bit shocked...at how many decks I have already collected. But you know what? I really like all my decks. I like the feel of them when I shuffle them. I like the energy from them. I love looking at the pictures. I love reading them. So maybe its not that bad to be a collector...excuse me till next time theres a coupe of decks for sale on another site I can hear calling my name.
