Your eyes can play a powerful role in helping you find calm. ๐ŸŒฟ

When you gently close your eyes, your brain has less information to process which can help your nervous system soften.

If you add small, slow eye movements behind closed lids, such as gliding the eyes side to side or making tiny circles, something beautiful begins to happen:

๐ŸŒฟ the mind starts to quiet
๐ŸŒฟ the โ€œbuzzโ€ of mental chatter settles
๐ŸŒฟ the nervous system shifts toward rest and safety
๐ŸŒฟ the whole body receives the signal that it can let go

This is a simple practice, yet incredibly powerful, especially when you feel overstimulated, anxious, or unable to unwind.

Try it:
โ€ข Close your eyes
โ€ข Let your breath soften
โ€ข Move your eyes slowly left โ†’ right โ†’ left
โ€ข Or make a few gentle circles behind your eyelids
