Foot strength might be the most underrated “skill” and need for longevity, injury prevention and performance. We believe that feet are the foundation of our kinetic chain. Weak feet mean we can’t fully use the rest of our lower body-glutes, hips, gastroc, etc.
The big toe is very important and we need to be able to press about 10% of our body weight through it. We need our big toe for greater power, efficiency and speed.
