OutFront Multisport Performance based endurance coaching, sports nutrition & strength training for busy runners and triathletes Hey athletes. What are my qualifications to help you?

I'm a triathlon/run coach that specializes in helping athletes turn their endurance dreams into reality. I do this through my 6 pillars of long distance success: mindset, endurance training, strength training, injury prevention, daily nutrition and sports nutrition. I believe to be the most successful athlete, and one who's body can train and race year after year, you must hit each of those pillars. I have an undergraduate and graduate degree in exercise physiology and sports nutrition. I'm a certified triathlon coach, running coach, and sports nutritionist (CISSN). I have been an athlete nearly my entire life, starting swimming at age 8, and swimming collegiately. I've been competing in triathlon for 15+ years, and coaching for 10+ years. I'd love to speak with you about 1:1 coaching/nutrition, or to have you join our team: Team Fueled Racing. DM me for more info.

I love my job(s)-triathlon and run coach, sports nutritionist, strength coach, etc. I’m an endurance jack of all trades. But after 16 years of doing what I love, I’ve come to realize that there’s something really special about getting to help athletes with the “little things.”

Training for a triathlon or marathon can take months to years. We shoot for smaller goals along the way, but still it can be hard to see big progress.

This month I’ve taught quite a few 1:1 swim lessons and with each lesson, each athlete has been able to make strides and see big progress right away. As a coach this is amazing. As an athlete I hope it’s the same! One 40 min lesson = faster with less effort!

We coaches are on your journeys with you. And we feel your highs and lows. These sessions are so fun! So if you’re on a “long term” trajectory and need to see some quick wins, something like a swim lessons would be great.

Way to go Abby! She heat trained and prepared for the heat and humidity of Miami the best she could (coming from the cold snow) and she was able to PR her marathon by 13min. That’s awesome!

3 degrees out but sunny ☀️ on this chilly winter day.

Whether you’re running, skiing or doing another winter sport, the key is dressing appropriately. It’s all about layers!

The boys are demonstrating with:
-wool socks
-base layer tights and a top that wick away moisture
-their Nordic coats under their winter coats (so after they warm up they can take off their winter coats)
-mittens keep your fingers warmer
-a moisture wicking balaclava
-a hat and neck warmer that also wick away moisture
-we were ready with Vaseline to protect their skin if needed

*don’t forget the fluids as you’ll still be getting dehydrated in the cold

A 20min PR at the St Croix 50k for Terri over the weekend. She crushed it!

We’re so proud of her hard work and determination to push through winter training to be ready for a 50k in the heat! She also was 9th female overall and 2nd in her AG! Woot woot!

After weeks of being down for the count (the dreaded flu), Diana was able to still do her half marathon at Disney. It wasn’t the race she had wanted, but life doesn’t always line up exactly as we want. And we’re so proud she could get to Disney and race given everything she’d just been through!

Tonight I took my boys to watch the RIT women’s hockey team play. The best Robert Morris woohoo!

I recently got the privilege of speaking to the women about performance sports nutrition. And watching them tonight was awesome. They played hard, skated with heart and I get reminded every day why I love doing what I do. While I’m not on the ice with the players, I’m not on the field with the athletes, in the pool with the swimmers, I get to help provide them with one part of their puzzle. I get to help athletes fuel smarter and in some cases (for runners and triathletes) help them train smarter and compete with confidence.

I’m a small business and while I might not seem like the typical small business as I have no storefront, I am. And sure there are days that it would be easier to have a typical job, less stressful, more predictable or a guarantee, but this is my passion. Providing nutrition, training and strength work to athletes.

If you’re an athlete, a coach, or a parent of an athlete who wants support with nutrition or training, I’d love to help you and your athletes get stronger, faster and more confident this season.

Thanks to everyone that supports small business like mine. It means everything ❤️

We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends!

We took part in the Victor Turkey Trot, our annual tradition. The boys ran the one mile (really 1.2 miles) and both did well. But Lochlan surprised everyone and took 2.5 min off of his time from last year running a 9:05 pace. And it’s not a flat course! For a just turned 7, pretty awesome!

At the start of the school year I gave a nutrition talk to the girls and boys highschool XC teams. And I heard they won the Section V championship! The first time in 20 or so years.

Nutrition is such a key to athletic success. Way to go ladies!
