Senior + Family Photography
More families are doing senior photos along with their family photos taken!
James' family wanted his senior photos along with family photos at Bothell Landing.
I took care of his older sister's senior photos and I hope to take care of his younger sister's later as well. =)

Maternity Photography
Meliza whose extended family got their family photos taken last year contacted me again for her maternity photos for her second child, who is a girl. During the rainy season, we were able to go to Bothell Landing and the weather was decent.

Senior Photography - Cassie
Cassie wanted to take her senior photos with a lake view and a little bit of an urban look in mind and chose Gas Works Park in Seattle, which worked out very well for her. She nailed poses while expressing herself very well. By the way, I was pleasantly surprised that she looked so much like her sister, whose senior photos I took care of a few years ago. Wedding Photography
I photographed their pre-wedding photo in hanbok (Korean Clothing) at Bellevue Botanical Garden earlier this year. I had a lot of fun covering their wedding, which took place at Blue Boy West Golf Course in Monroe. They planned the whole event the way they wanted and it worked very well for them. I made a visit to Myong's Art Studio, which is located near Redondo Beach in Des Moines.
Ms. Myung Sweet is the owner of the studio and she has her own art work displayed throughout the studio and also on the second floor where she has her personal work space.
If you are interested in learning fine art painting, please make a visit yourself. You will be impressed with artwork there.

Cascade Youth Symphony Orchestra Program Photo
Another successful session with Benjamin, who a marimba player and will perform a concerto with Cascade Youth Symphony Orchestra for 2025 Fall Concert at Benaroya Hall, Seattle on November 22, 2025. I will be there to cover the concert.

I made a visit to APCC Jade Choe Gallery where Ms. Patsy O'Connell is having her Solo Exhibit. She is the founder of APCC and also an artist. Those who are interested in art, especially Korean painting style on Hanji, this is the one exhibit you don't want to miss.

The artist is using primarily ink on rice paper to connect with her Asian heritage, which features uniquely immersive paintings born of Korean sentiment and diaspora experience.

Curator's Statement - Kellis Parlett
"Eternal Blooms: Peony Homage" begins as a deeply personal tribute but blossoms into a universal reflection on family, womanhood, and resilience.

Through the enduring symbolism of the peony, the artist honors her mother's life with themes of love, strength, and hope, creating an emotional bridge between generations and cultures.

Executed in the traditional Korean painting style on Hanji (Korean mulberry paper), the works display refined brushwork and a delicate balance of form and space. The use of Asian techniques and materials imbues the pieces with quiet intensity and timeless beauty.
The artist, a first generation Korean American and founder of this very Asian Pacific cultural center, has been a trailblazer in the local arts community.

Now 83 years old, she continues to lead with grace and purpose, serving as an inspiring role model for both Korean and American communities alike.

Importantly, all proceeds from this exhibition will be donated to the APCC Scholarship Fund, extending the impact of this exhibition beyond the gallery and into the future of the community.

"Eternal Blooms: Peony Homage" is both a visual love letter to the artist's mother and a powerful testament to the enduring beauty and strength of women everywhere.
