SourcePoint trip-goers spent the day in the city, starting with a visit to the National Veterans Memorial and Museum, where everyone found it to be a moving and inspiring experience.

Afterwards, the group went to Hofbrauhaus Columbus to enjoy delicious German bratwurst and spaetzle, and then made a final stop at Krema Nut Company, where they sampled products and brainstormed gift ideas for loved ones. Supporting local businesses really is a win-win!!

Three years after the creation of SourcePoint, Fara Waugh was welcomed to the team in 1995 as the organization's first social worker. In fact, Fara was honored to make the first home visit that launched the In-Home Care program! 🏠

Thirty years later, Fara remains dedicated to serving older adults in Delaware County in her role as CEO. She ensures that programs such as In-Home Care continue to thrive. 🫶❤️ Today, there is a large team of Care Consultants, Resource Navigators, Client Service Supervisors, Volunteer Specialists, and Mobility Coordinators who assist 1,600 older adults in accessing essential In-Home Care services, such as adult day care, chore services, emergency response systems, homemaker services, Meals on Wheels, medical transportation, basic nursing services, mental health counseling, personal care, and respite care.

🎁 To mark Fara’s incredible 30-year milestone, the community is invited to take part in the campaign and make a $30 donation** at MySourcePoint.org/give.

**Or any amount! This initiative is part of SourcePoint’s annual campaign, held each year in November and December. Thank you for investing in the future of aging services in Delaware County.
