This might seem like a harsh statement, but it couldn’t be truer!

If we get used to ‘rewarding’ successes (or consoling failures) with FOOD or other external substances, we are cultivating a negative and dependent relationship with it.

Becoming more aware of who we are and how our bodies deal with stress and difficult emotions is key to improving our relationship with food, and this includes seeing it as more than just the fuel we give ourselves to survive.
