Two weeks post Botox and still dealing with pointy peaked eyebrows? This is exactly how we fix it.
Peaked or pointy eyebrows after Botox are a common occurrence and the good news is they are completely correctable with a simple follow up treatment. Here is what is actually happening and how we address it. π¬
The frontalis muscle sits just beneath the skin and is responsible for lifting the brow. When Botox is placed and certain areas of that muscle remain more active than others, it can create an uneven pull that causes the brow to peak or arch in a way that looks unnatural.
The fix is precise and straightforward. A small injection is placed directly above the area of the peak, targeting the frontalis muscle just underneath the skin. The goal is to create a tiny wheel of product in exactly the right spot to relax that overactive area and soften the shape of the brow. In some cases this involves a few small injections above each eyebrow to get the balance right. β¨
This is exactly why follow up appointments matter. Botox is not always a set it and forget it procedure. Small adjustments like this are part of getting the result right and any good injector will want to see you back to make sure everything settled the way it should.
