Yesterday marked a festive Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday celebration orchestrated by our Culinary and Activities departments. Residents enjoyed a delicious spread featuring chicken and sausage gumbo with okra, flavorful Cajun rice, light and airy beignets, and refreshing hurricane mocktails. Staff members were treated to a separate menu, including Dirty Rice with Sausage, decadent beignets drizzled with homemade caramel, and also enjoyed the mocktails. The lively atmosphere was further enhanced by the sounds of jazz music.

You will have peace of mind knowing that loved ones are in a safe, accessible community that is close to important amenities. Friends and family are encouraged to visit often. Whether you are looking for rehabilitation, memory care, nursing, long-term, respite or hospice care, University Nursing Center is the ideal senior community for residents in or near Upland, Indiana. Accepting Medicare, Managed Care and Private Insurances, our specialists will help you understand your benefits. Also, we accept Medicaid and can help with the application process too!
