What a fantastic happy hour at The Coventry today! We had the honor of welcoming the Upper Arlington Alumni Association and Upper Arlington Education Foundation. Our residents enjoyed flipping through stacks of yearbooks, reminiscing about their teenage years and sharing pictures of yesteryear! It’s always a joy to relive those special moments together.

🍂 Today, our community came together to celebrate gratitude with the annual Gratitude Tree! Residents and guests are invited to jot down what they’re thankful for on colorful leaves and hang them on our beautiful tree. 🍁 Let’s spread positivity and joy as we count down to Thanksgiving! Remember, practicing gratitude not only uplifts our spirits but also boosts our well-being.

🎃👻 Our community had a spook-tacular time celebrating Halloween! From fabulous costumes to delicious treats and groovy music, it was a great gathering. The laughter and smiles on everyone's faces say it all! Huge thanks to everyone who joined the fun.

Our Coventry residents got into the fall spirit last weekend with a cheerful pumpkin painting workshop. From classic jack-o’-lantern faces to whimsical designs and glittery stems, everyone put their own creative spin on the season. Thank you to our Enrichment team for organizing a fun afternoon of art, conversation, and autumn color. 🍂🎨

The Coventry’s Movie Club had a real Hollywood treat! We screened the legendary 1960 Western The Magnificent Seven, and welcomed special guest Larry M., who appeared as an extra in the film. Larry shared what it was like on set, showed incredible photos, and told stories about working alongside Yul Brynner and Steve McQueen. Our residents loved the Q&A and a trip down memory lane—thank you, Larry, for bringing movie magic to The Coventry!

Today, The Coventry Lunch Bunch took a delicious trip to JT's Pizza & Pub! Known for being one of the top pizza spots in the city, we had to see if it lived up to the hype. Spoiler alert: Our taste buds say YES! 😍 Everyone's raving – it might just be the #1 pizza in town! 🍕

This week at The Coventry, we celebrated an incredible milestone — Eileen L. turned 101! To honor her special day, we hosted a Kentucky Derby–themed celebration, complete with the “101st Running of Eileen Lazear.”

Residents enjoyed racing fun, derby decorations, sweet treats, and plenty of laughter as we toasted to Eileen’s remarkable life and joyful spirit. 🐎

Here’s to 101 years of memories, grace, and inspiration — and to many more!
