If you’ve been told to “just do kegels” but your symptoms aren’t improving OR are getting worse. This may be why 👀

Many bladder leaks, urgency, prolapse symptoms and pelvic pain come from muscles that are over working and under relaxing NOT muscles that are weak.

The pelvic floor needs to relax, length and coordinate with your breath and core before strengthening ever helps.

➡️ This is why pelvic floor therapy is never one-size-fits-all.

I offer 1:1 pelvic floor evaluations to figure out what’s going on and build a plan that actually works! DM me for more info or visit link in bio!

Myth: if you have pelvic floor symptoms, you just need to do more kegels.

Truth: Not always.
➡️ Leaks, urgency, pain or pressure aren’t always automatically a strength problem.

💡For many people, symptoms come from:
- overactive or tense pelvic floor muscles
- poor coordination with breathing
- rib, core or posture alignment issues

❌ More squeezing isn’t always the answer— and sometimes it can make things worse.

🎯The goal is coordination not just contraction!

If you’re not sure what YOUR pelvic floor actually needs, that’s exactly what pelvic floor therapy helps uncover.

Five years ago, I up and changed my career path. I chose a path that isn’t always talked about openly—but impacts so many lives. Over the last five years, I’ve had the honor of walking alongside women through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, pain, leaking, strength-building, and learning to trust their bodies again.

Pelvic floor therapy isn’t just about muscles. It’s about education, empowerment, and giving women permission to take up space in their healing.

I’ve learned that progress isn’t linear. Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. And that listening—really listening—to my patients is just as important as any exercise I prescribe.

To every patient who trusted me, every referral, every conversation that helped normalize this work—thank you. I’m so grateful for the growth, the challenges, and the community built along the way.

Here’s to continuing to learn, advocate, and support women in feeling strong and confident in their bodies ❤️🥳🙌🏻

Leaking during exercise may be common but it’s not something you have to accept.

A lot of leaks aren’t caused by weakness… they’re caused by lack of coordination, breathing patterns and pressure management.

Check out my current blog at the link in bio to read what to do about these common mistakes with leaking during exercise!

If your bladder symptoms are affecting your life, it’s time to get answers.

Waiting until things are “bad enough” often means symptoms become harder to resolve.

Pelvic floor therapy can:
✔️ Improve bladder control
✔️ Reduce urgency & frequency
✔️ Support exercise & movement confidence
✔️ Help you sleep better

👉🏼Small symptoms now don’t need to become big problems later.

Ever find yourself:
✔️ Mapping out bathrooms before leaving the house
✔️ Going “just in case” every time
✔️ Avoiding jumping, running or long walks
✔️ Waking up multiple times at night to p*e

You’re not alone — but you also don’t have to accept this as your new normal.

Bladder symptoms are often a pelvic floor + nervous system issue, not a “drink less water” issue.

🧠💪🏼 Pelvic floor therapy treats the root cause, not just the symptoms.
