With love and gratitude we remember our heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice

There will always be an emptiness that I feel on Mother's Day
In spite of being grateful to have my own mom to celebrate
There is still that part that is ever present, that empty spot remains and will always remain
My beautiful Victoria Rose 🌹 is always with me but she should be here.
She should be coming through my door with flowers and a card and a big smile
I should be able to wrap her in my arms with a big momma bear hug that only mom's can give
Instead I can only imagine what she is doing in heaven and it has always brought me comfort to know she is safe with God
But she should still be here....especially today she should be here....
