I want to share what I do to help myself survive and THRIVE with my own diagnosis of uterine cancer. Honestly my experience has been nothing but POSITIVE!
I believe its all the work with Qigong (stretches and breath work), nutrition, positive attitude, faith in something higher, an interest in Life, and an understanding acceptance/surrendering to death/transitioning etc.
Many cancers return after chemo and radiation and are fatal but until then I will make it my life's work to dedicate to the research of cancer and High Grade Serous Carcinoma (HGSC)in particular.
Together we can learn what normal biological functions/pathways feed and thereby inadvertently proliferate/metastasize your cancer, so that we can then block/starve/kill the cancer STEM cell( not only simply the “fast replicating cells” that most oncology centers in the US focus on).
Then using, but maybe even replacing, as much as possible the ‘synthetic’ off label drugs, used for that now, check out the work of Otto Warburg-https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warburg_effect_(oncology),and Jane McLelland-https://www.lifeextension.com/magazine/2020/1/wellness-profile, that are no longer patented (or profitable) like metformin, statins(levo) etc., WITH botanicals and wholefood phytonutrients-check out Chris Wark-https://www.chrisbeatcancer.com/the-raw-vegan-diet/, and
fungi etc to effectively starve/block the stem cell from living.. making for a possibly healthier and hopefully longer remission.
And MOST importantly, I want to help people cultivate and maintain the mental/spiritual positive attitudes so needed during any trying time, especially during the whole cancer experience, ideally before, during and after.
Having some faith in a higher Perspective/God/Universe etc really helps and that’s been an important part of my healing journey. Also that there is no such thing as ‘death’. That there’s only transitioning...and that transitioning need not be feared..but embraced! That the Universe is cheering us on and we no longer have to fear how enormous we are!
With all my mentors and guides, and patients like you this is my fervent hope and prayer.
Warmly,
Nancy
