“Here’s to the women who rise—
the ones who nurture, lead, heal, create, and persevere.
The ones who lift others as they climb, who turn obstacles into strength, and compassion into change.
The world is brighter, stronger, and more hopeful because of you.
Today we celebrate you—not just for what you do, but for who you are.”
International Women’s Day feels especially meaningful around here.
Our team is led by incredible women whose calling and drive is to help others—but whose highest calling is at home, being mothers.
Every single day these women show up for our patients with compassion, knowledge, and dedication. They educate, support, and empower others to optimize their health… all while carrying the invisible mental load of motherhood at home.
The mental load of motherhood is often unseen, but it includes the constant planning, remembering, anticipating, and coordinating that keeps a family running.
It looks like:
• Making sure the milk is stocked and snacks are ready
• Washing and cutting fruit and refilling the hand soap
• Packing lunches — or even homeschooling children
• Keeping track of sports schedules, dance practices, and homework assignments
• Being the one who kisses boo-boos and reads bedtime stories
• Helping little ones navigate big emotions and meltdowns
• Managing allergies and sensitivities
• Scheduling doctor’s appointments and remembering spirit days, costumes, and school projects
• Staying on top of laundry, dishes, and keeping a home running smoothly
• And somehow still trying to take care of your own health—both physically and mentally
And these women do all of this and more, day after day, while continuing to show up with intention, strength, and grace.
So today, we celebrate them.
To the women on our team and the women everywhere doing the quiet, powerful work of caring for others—
we see you.
We appreciate you.
We value you.
Thank you for what you do at home and in your careers.
Thank you for making the lives of everyone around you better.
Happy International Women’s Day. 💛
