Freedom Caregivers opened its doors in 2013, responding to a critical need for local in-home care services for the elderly population. Its founders, Jason Eibling and Joanne Yeater, with decades of healthcare experience between them, strived to create an organization offering the quality of care they would expect, and that their own senior relatives would embrace. With that vision as their goal, Freedom Caregivers began with one caregiver and two clients. Fast forward to today, and our agency has grown to include four office locations, 100 caregivers, and more than 200 clients. Even with this expansion, we remain individually focused on providing excellent personal care to elders in their homes. Freedom now offers a wide range of customizable services aimed at helping the Greatest Generation remain safe in their homes and active in the lives they worked so hard to build. What sets us apart from other agencies is our commitment to relationship-building and our unwavering service standards. We carefully match clients and caregivers; we’re available 24/7 to answer any questions. Our frontline staff members are carefully screened; they are individuals we would welcome into our own homes. They’re compassionate, professional, and continuously receive training to stay ahead of advancing in-home care trends. We’re Freedom Caregivers for so many reasons. In our experience, in-home care is the first – and best – choice for many older adults whose wishes are to remain in their homes with freedom, dignity, and independence. Our mission is to honor God by serving others. We believe the people who have always cared for us now deserve to be cared for by us. It’s our turn to serve them.

Denae isn’t just an operations expert; she is a COTA/L by trade with 13 years of healthcare experience under her belt. At Freedom Caregivers, she uses that deep clinical knowledge to lead our office and field staff, ensuring that every client receives the excellent, compassionate care they deserve.

When she’s not guiding our team or supporting our clients, you can usually find Denae fueling her adventurous spirit or catching up on the classics:

We are thrilled to introduce the leader steering the ship at our Canton office—meet Brad, our Director of Branch Operations! ✨

Brad isn't just an operations expert; he is a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant who has dedicated the last 15 years to long-term care. He brings that deep clinical heart to Freedom Caregivers every day, focusing on the powerful relationships he builds with our staff, our clients, and our local community.

We sat down with Brad to get the "inside scoop" on his life in and out of the office:

1. How does your clinical background help you at Freedom Caregivers? 🩺
Being an OTA by trade allows me to truly understand the needs of our clients from a medical perspective. It helps me guide our Canton team to provide the highest standard of care possible!

2. What is the most rewarding part of your role? 🤝
It’s an honor to build relationships. Whether I’m supporting our hardworking caregivers or connecting with a new family, those personal bonds are what make this job special.

3. We hear you’re big on community! Why is that a priority? 🏘️
I absolutely love building relationships with our community partners. I truly believe that by working together, we can achieve a greater good for the seniors in our area. It takes a village, and I love being part of ours!

4. What keeps your family busy on the weekends? 💃
My wife and I have two daughters who are absolutely obsessed with dance! Our weekends are usually a whirlwind of rehearsals and competitions—we are definitely a "dance family."

5. Where is your favorite place to be when you aren't working? ☀️
If the Ohio weather is warm enough to be outside, that’s where you’ll find me! I love spending my off-time soaking up the sun with my friends and family.

The Freedom Caregivers team had a blast attending the 1st Annual Chili Cook-off hosted by our amazing community partners at Primrose last week! It was a day filled with great flavor, but the company was definitely the secret ingredient.

There’s nothing quite like sitting down for a bowl of chili and getting to chat with the Primrose residents. We also loved networking with so many of our other incredible community partners. Whether we were debating who had the best "kick" in their recipe or sharing ideas on how to better serve our seniors, it’s always a win when we get together.

Huge thanks to Primrose Retirement Community of Mansfield for hosting such a fun (and delicious!) event. We’re already looking forward to next year—and maybe bringing a trophy home! 🏆🔥

We have another huge milestone to celebrate, though if we’re being honest, the clock couldn’t even keep up with her! Please join us in congratulating Melissa on officially receiving her 1,500 Hours of Care award! 🏆✨

Here’s the thing about Melissa: she has already blown past that 1,500-hour mark. That’s just who she is—always moving, always caring, and always one step ahead. 👏

If you ever wonder how the "magic" happens behind the scenes, you’ll usually find Melissa huddled up with Kelly, our Assistant Branch Administrator. Together, they are the ultimate puzzle-solving duo. They handle every twist and turn with total grace (and maybe a little bit of caffeine!). ☕️💻

Melissa has been a vital part of our family for nearly three years now (her big anniversary is this June!), and she has truly earned her title as the "Chaos Coordinator." From providing world-class care to our senior clients to making sure the logistics never skip a beat, she is the glue that keeps us all together. 💙

Yesterday, the Freedom Caregivers office was filled with streamers, laughter, and so much love as we gathered to celebrate a truly incredible milestone. We had a beautiful celebration—complete with a delicious Olive Garden spread, a gorgeous cake, and a little bubbly to toast to three phenomenal women who have officially been part of the Freedom family for 10 years. 🙌🥰✨

Robin, Jennifer, and Michelle are the absolute heart of everything we do. Reaching a decade in this field isn’t just about the time on the clock; it’s about the thousands of lives they’ve touched and the unwavering dedication they show to our seniors every single day. 🤝

To do this work for ten years requires a level of compassion and heart that simply cannot be taught. These ladies don’t just show up for a shift; they show up with a drive to make life better, safer, and more joyful for every client they serve. Their love for the seniors in our community is limitless, and they have become a steadfast source of comfort for so many local families. 💙

We are extremely grateful that Robin, Jennifer, and Michelle chose us a decade ago and continue to choose us every day. You aren't just staff; you are the gold standard of caregiving and a vital part of the Freedom family. Cheers to ten years of excellence, and here is to many more! 🥂🍰

Our Director of Business Development, Shaleigh, and Assistant Marketing Coordinator, Amanda, attended the Community Council Meeting and really enjoyed showing support and celebrating the impact Wyandot Rides has on the lives of those we serve.
