South Hills Speech Therapy

Services include evaluations and therapy for pediatrics and young adults. Opened in October 2021, South Hills Speech Therapy is owned and operated by Dr. Amy Tingley.

Dr. Tingley earned her B.S. in Psychology in 2005 from California University of Pennsylvania. in 2011 and SLP.D.in 2017 both from Nova Southeastern University. Her clinical experience has revolved around working with children, either in the public education setting or private practice. She has specialized her work in children with developmental disabilities, Autism, articulation disorders, and language delays and disabilities. Dr. Tingley also has a special interest in the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication and comprehensive diagnostics. She has been an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University since 2019 and has taught Capstone, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, and Language Disorders in School Age and Adolescents.

Dr. Tingley holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as well as insured and fully Covid-19 vaccinated. She resides in the South Hills of Pittsburgh with her husband and two young boys.
