Please help me welcome Josie to our staff at Massage, Peace & Wellness! Josie is a licensed massage therapist who currently works full time at a spa in the Columbus area but lives here locally. She is joining us part time, offering Saturday appointments. I, personally, received a massage from her and am thoroughly impressed with her skill level. Her techniques are relaxing while also giving the deep, therapeutic touch that our clients are accustomed to receiving. She not only listened to what I verbally communicated to her, she also listened with her hands and was very receptive to what my muscles communicated to her. I had several of the, ‘I didn’t even know that hurt until you touched it’ moments. Please help me give Josie the warm welcome she deserves and let’s fill her Saturday appointments. We just received this very touching message from a client who visited us this week. When I noticed she was quietly sobbing I simply gave her a tissue, reassured her that she was in a safe place and told her that I’d be happy to stop and pray with her if she needed that. We continued the session in silence and she released the pent up emotions that she had been bottling up inside. Thank you for sharing your experience and for giving me permission to share it here. We never know how our experiences may affect and inspire others.

Message from Stephanie…..I’ve activated online booking for appointments with me once again. Thank you all for your patience with me these last few tumultuous years. I know I wasn’t the most reliable therapist while my parents were sick and I missed a lot of work and even cancelled last minute on many occasions. I do not regret taking care of them when they needed me most but since they have both now passed away my full attention is back on my business and my clients. I look forward to seeing so many of the faces I’ve not seen in a while and once again becoming an important part of your wellness team.

Most of our followers know that Stephanie has been away from the office for the majority of this year as she was caring for her father. He was diagnosed with a recurrence of bile duct cancer and was home on hospice care for the last couple months. She and her siblings cared for their father in his home 24/7. Unfortunately, Steve lost his courageous battle on June 6th. As Stephanie prepares for her return to work please remember that for the last 4 solid years she has dealt with illness, drs appointments, caretaking and ultimately the deaths of BOTH of her parents who battled cancer concurrently. We know she misses all of her clients and needs to get back to some sort of normalcy in her life but please be aware that she may not take on a full schedule for a little while longer. Thank you all for your patience and understanding during this difficult time in her life. We do have a list of everyone that is waiting to get rescheduled with her and we will be reaching out to each of you to get you back in soon.

Message from Stephanie……I am returning to work tomorrow. I did open up online booking for appointments with me again. I’ll add the link. Then click ‘book appointment’ and scroll down and you’ll see options to schedule with me. Thank you all for your patience during the entire year of 2023 while both of my parents were fighting MAJOR illness. As most of you know my beautiful mother passed away in December. Meanwhile, my dad is doing really well after a scare from his doctors about a possible return of his cancer. After 3 different biopsies, all results are ‘no malignancy present’, so no cancer present in any of the biopsies. Let’s all have a fantastic year and get back to the positivity and healing that have always been the foundation of my relationships with all of you wonderful people. Now go get yourself scheduled so you can secure the spots that fit your schedules. Reminder, all 4:00 or later appointments will be scheduled by me personally so give me a call or send me a text if you need those later spots.

Thank you to everyone who attended Mom’s service today, sent messages, sent flowers and sent gifts. The amount of love our family feels right now is incredible. You all really went all out for our Mom today and we really appreciate it. Littleton & Rue Funeral Home and Crematory did a wonderful job with the service. It was very classy and tasteful. And the many clients of mine who supported my family today was so special because you all know how special you are to me and now I feel how special I am to you too. You guys are the best❤️ I hope to see you all sometime in January, I’m just going to need some time before jumping back into work.
