You might’ve wondered why we made our transition to a behavioral health hospital – and that’s totally fair.

Our community and those around us have a growing need for mental health care. With this evolution, we can really focus our resources where they’re needed most.

By becoming a dedicated behavioral health hospital, we’re not only expanding access to care for patients who need us, but also strengthening support across our entire region.

Taking care of your heart starts with preventing and detecting heart disease in its earliest stages.

This is why we’re offering heart calcium scoring – a non-invasive scan that detects plaque buildup before symptoms appear. It's painless, only takes a few minutes, and is just $65 in February!

If you’re a man over 30 or woman over 40 with a history of smoking, high blood pressure or diabetes, call (217) 337-2147 to find out if this screening is right for you.

As the seasons change, you may need to adjust your skincare regime to accommodate changing conditions, but the foundation should always include: wearing sunscreen every day, drinking lots of water, and no smoking, said Amber Oberheim, APRN.

It's also possible to develop new skin conditions as you age, like psoriasis, eczema, and rosacea. Learn more about the warning signs for these conditions in the OSF Newsroom: https://bit.ly/3NstzvG
