Today’s indoor shuffleboard tournament brought out the best kind of fun! Residents and staff playing side‑by‑side, cheering each other on, and celebrating every good shot. Moments like these remind us how strong our community is when we play, laugh, and connect together.

Congrats to 2026 Indoor Shuffleboard Champions Randy Hauser and Mike Smith!

Today, our Department Heads and Executive team stepped away from the day‑to‑day to focus on how we lead—together.

Our leadership retreat centered on strengthening a shared Culture of Excellence, practicing real leadership conversations, and learning across departments. By stepping outside our usual roles, leaders exchanged perspectives, challenged assumptions, and aligned on what excellence should look like consistently across the organization.

This work shows up in clearer expectations, stronger accountability, and leadership behaviors that support both our teams and the people we serve.

When leaders grow together, culture becomes consistent—and the organization moves forward with purpose and confidence.

Greenhouse Homes residents have been stretching their creative muscles by making spreads with photos, stickers, and decorative paper in our scrapbook. It's so fun to be able to preserve and look back on all the memories we make at the Greenhouse Homes!

MeadowBrook residents had a wonderful time decorating cookies and cupcakes alongside members of the American Medical Women’s Association from the University of Illinois. We’re grateful to AMWA for spending part of their day with us and creating such meaningful moments of connection!

Word got out about Bad Bunny’s incredible Super Bowl performance, so we brought the excitement to MeadowLark! Residents loved watching him make history as the first artist to perform entirely in Spanish at the Super Bowl. They also enjoyed learning a bit about Puerto Rico, and of course, getting up to dance. 💃
