It's time to make a difference, the annual Cancer Association of Champaign County Hearts fundraising cans are being distributed throughout the county and I'm calling on each of you to give every time you see a can, knowing that 90 cents of every dollar donated goes directly towards supporting Champaign county residents who are bravely battling cancer and utilizing our services. Cans will be displayed until February 14th.

Do you own a business in Champaign County or work at a local business that would be interested in helping support our annual Hearts fundraiser? If so, comment below and we'd love to add you to the list. Cans will be distributed in the next week. The Hearts fundraiser runs January 14th through February 14th. You can find a can at many locally owned businesses, and remember, every penny helps. Thank you!

💥January 2026 Board Meeting & Summary.

December witnessed substantial activity in patient services, with 11 new clients enrolled, thereby extending support to 11 additional individuals in our county with a current cancer diagnosis. Our monthly services presently cater to 130 patients, providing assistance to 50 patients with gas cards, aiding 25 patients with prescription costs, supplying nutritional supplements to 6 clients, and facilitating multiple patients with medical bills. We would like to take a moment to express our sincere appreciation to our local grocery store, Steve's Market & Deli. If you have shopped at the Urbana or North Lewisburg location, you may have seen one of the heart cans. They allow us to place a can year-round to accept donations. Remember, every penny counts, and we are truly grateful for both them and our donors.
