We had a wonderful time digging into the world of container gardening yesterday! With beautiful, hands-on examples from Iowa Outdoor Products and an engaging presentation by Shelby from Iowa Family Gardens (and a delicious array of appetizers provided by our own Chef Arif) we discovered that you don’t need a big backyard to enjoy the beauty and rewards of gardening—just a little creativity, a bit of knowledge, and the right container. Turns out, apartment living and green thumbs go perfectly together!

We look forward to welcoming local attorney Chad Eichorn this morning at 11:00 AM. Chad will be discussing Wills, Revocable Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, Medicaid Asset Protection Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Special Needs Trust, and Veteran Asset Protection Trusts.

This informative session is a great opportunity for The Arbordale residents to gain peace of mind and practical guidance on protecting their assets and planning confidently for the future.

Birthdays and St.Patricks Day 🍀 back to back! We had a four day scavenger hunt, pistachio cake and in true Irish fashion a baked potato bar. It really was a very fun day! 💚 We also can’t forget the lotto ticket prizes ☺️Thank you to all those that participated. We had a packed house! 🇮🇪🍀💚🌈💰🌟💛🍀🌈💚

Our Chef, Arif, loves a challenge so we are starting our Challenge the Chef series! Beginning Monday, March 9, residents are invited to drop their recipe (or simply suggest a favorite meal) into the Golden Recipe Box in our Coffee Shop.

Each month, our office team will randomly draw two submissions, and Chef will add those selections to our weekly menu for everyone to enjoy. We are excited to see what new meals appear on our menus!

Sarah joined The Arbordale team in November of 2025 and is the bubbly, sing-songy voice you’ll hear throughout the community as she chats and laughs with residents. With her warm personality and genuine care for people, Sarah makes every tour feel less like an appointment and more like a conversation with a friend.
