Central Iowa Compounding serves both the patient and healthcare professional. We are a compounding pharmacy for children, adults and pets. We specialize in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), sterile preparations, pain management and hormonal balance. We have a variety of dosage forms to appeal to children, adults, the elderly and pets. Central Iowa Compounding was the 1st PCAB® Accredited Compounding Pharmacy for sterile and non-sterile in the state of Iowa! PCAB® Acrreditation
PCAB® was created by the leading organizations in the pharmacy profession for the purpose of recognizing those compounding pharmacies that have demonstrated their outstanding commitment to quality. Currently, there are about 100 PCAB® Accredited pharmacies nationally.

Due to the Covid-19 Virus we have become a closed pharmacy. You can still get your prescriptions and OTC's by mail or curbside delivery. We are asking customers to prepay and once you arrive at the pharmacy, you can call us and we will deliver to your car. Our store hours are changing next week. We will be open Monday-Friday 9 am-5pm and Saturdays 9 am-noon. This will be from April 6th-May 1st. Thanks for your support during this challenging time.

Job opening! Looking for a compounding pharmacy technician, preferably certified (CphT) to work 32 hours per week. Job responsibilities include customer service and preparation of non-sterile medications. On the job training. No Sundays or holidays, occasional Saturdays 9 am- noon. Retirement benefits after the first year.
