Used grounds could potentially replace salt on sidewalks! According to the article, the abrasiveness of the dried coffee grounds can cause melting of ice.
Other benefits: it’s more environmentally friendly, better for the paws of our four legged friends, could improve soil quality when washed away and simply smells good for those walking in our winter weather!

Merry Christmas Friends!! We will be closed Thursday December 24th, Friday December 25th and Saturday December 26th. We will reopen Monday December 28th for regular business hours 8 am to 5:30.pm. Give is a call today if you are needing a prescription refill, food,pet treats or a last minute fun gift for your fur pal or human loved one. We have lots of fun unique gifts for all. You are welcome to window shop with us, pay over the phone and we will run it out to you curbside. Be sure to check out our very own online store as well, and have prescriptions,treats, preventatives,toys,food, all your pets needs sent right to your home while supporting local jobs at our distributor and our clinic.

We would like to share this with you and hope you'll PLEASE pass this along to your friends. This OVERWHELMING issue is happening ALL OVER THE U.S.. The last few months have been an EXCESSIVELY BUSY AND EXTREMELY HECTIC time for veterinary clinics. We understand it has been frustrating to pet owners having delays in getting appointments for your precious pets. We ask for your kindness, patience and understanding with your veterinarians and staff during this unusual rise in demand for appointments. Please understand we truly are squeezing in as many patients as we possibly can, even giving up ALL our breaks and lunch so we can see as many as the day will allow. Your pets are just as important and loved by us as they always have been and we are giving them the highest standards of care we always have. When our day is overbooked and your pet needs medical attention, we will refer you to a trusted colleague's clinic or the emergency clinic. Please be patient with them as they are also inundated with appointments as well. Pass this on and encourage your friends and family to share some extra love and appreciation with their own Veterinary team as its greatly needed during this stressful time.

We'd love to see your furbaby's with your ttether all. Please pass along your ideas for keeping you ornaments safe or on the tree. In the Janssen household I either bend the ornament hook closed around the branch so it won't come off or I bend the very tip of the artificial branch up and back over the string so there is no chance of the ornaments coming off no matter who bumps or whacks it like they are playing tetherball.
